The Queen was reportedly left red-faced and forced to apologise after a horse broke wind as she showed a foreign dignitary around her stables.The 95 year old monarch, who has returned to Windsor Castle via a private jet after a short trip to Sandringham, was said to be innocently showing the foreign dignity around when the animal shocked them by "farting loudly".

According to The Times, the Queen apologised following an "awkward pause" - but the dignitary appeared to be a good sport about the incident. "I do apologise, your excellency," The Queen, who has joked about her desire to become a gymnast, reportedly said.
