The director of the FX documentary Framing Britney Spears is opening up to explain the title of the film. The Emmy-nominated documentary, which was produced by The New York Times, debuted on FX and Hulu back in February and led to re-energizing the #FreeBritney movement. Britney said on Instagram that she “didn’t like the way the documentaries bring up humiliating moments from the past.” The documentary’s inclusion of those moments from her past was one of the things that led to the title being Framing Britney Spears.
