Joe Exotic
Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage (born March 5, 1963), better known by his stage name Joe Exotic, is an American former zoo operator, internet personality, musician, and convicted felon. The former owner and operator of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park (a.k.a. G. W. Zoo) in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Maldonado-Passage had claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States. He twice unsuccessfully ran for public office, first for President of the United States in 2016 as an independent, and then for Governor of Oklahoma in 2018 as a Libertarian.
Carole Baskin
Carole Baskin (born June 6, 1961) is an American animal rights activist and owner of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based near Tampa, Florida. Baskin drew public attention when she was featured in the 2020 Netflix documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness about Oklahoma-based private zoo operator known as Joe Exotic. The Netflix series follows both Baskin and Joe Exotic, filming their ongoing and escalating feuds over exotic animals in private zoos. Following the series' release, Baskin has been targeted by Internet memes related to the disappearance of Don Lewis, her second husband.

When it comes to OJ Simpson’s suspicions around Carole Baskin, the gloves are off. The Juice himself chimed in on Netflix’s hit docuseries “Tiger King,” joining a growing chorus of celebs and armchair detectives who believe Baskin, a big cat activist and foe to Joe “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage, murdered her former husband by chopping him up and feeding him to her tigers.

Baskin has vehemently denied the theory. “There’s not a shred of doubt in my mind that that lady’s husband is tiger sashimi right now…I’m just saying,” Simpson, 72, said in a video posted on Twitter Wednesday.

The one-minute clip, which garnered over 5,000 likes in one hour, is especially jaw-dropping since many still suspect that the former running back got away with killing
