Viewers watched as Cain and Billy narrowly escaped being arrested by the crooked police chef following a lengthy search of their car for drugs.
Fans of the ITV soap have watched in recent weeks as the trio have been forced into Malone’s Line of Duty-style corrupt cop organisation along with Will Taylor but are refusing to follow his orders.
This led the dodgy detective to use them as bait to distract police from the real drug operation that Will was dragged into and on tonight's instalment was left fuming when the drugs weren't found.
