South Ayrshire this weekend to deliver Easter baskets to elderly people.Staff from VASA’s South Ayrshire Lifeline and their volunteer helpers will don their bunny ears to bring a smile to the faces of more than 100 older folk from Dundonald to Girvan.The Easter baskets, which will include chocolate eggs, hot cross buns, bunny biscuits, a puzzle book and daffodils, will be delivered by the same dedicated band who were out on Christmas Day dropping off turkey dinners and presents to over 65s who were spending the day alone.The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all the local news in your area – plus features, football news and the latest on the coronavirus crisis – at your fingertips 24/7.The free download features the latest.
