EastEnders fans in tears over 'perfect ending' as Tiffany returns for Keegan exit

EastEnders fans were left in tears on Thursday's episode as Maisie Smith returned as her character Tiffany Butcher for a "perfect ending" with Keegan Baker (Zack Morris).Tiffany made an emotional exit from Walford in December where she headed to Germany after she sent a letter to estranged husband Keegan, explaining that if he wanted to get back together to meet her at the station – but if he did not she enclosed divorce papers.The love letter was unfortunately intercepted by a meddling Liam Butcher, who didn't want his sister to get back with her husband, and he took the note out of the envelope and left the divorce papers inside.Tiffany made a return to Albert Square on Thursday's episode after learning that Keegan was struggling following the news that Gray Atkins had murdered his sister Chantelle.

Keegan said: "Are you telling me, you only left because I didn't reply to a letter? So I lost the only girl I've ever loved because I didn't..." to which Tiffany pulled him in for a kiss.The episode ended with Keegan declaring that he was moving to Germany with Tiffany as the rekindled couple made their emotional exit from Albert Square, stopping to look one last time.

Viewers took to Twitter to admit they were in tears over the "perfect ending" as they also expressed their sadness over soap stars Maisie and Zack leaving.
