Doja Cat recently came out to defend Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B amid the release of their brand new song together, “WAP,” which was criticized by many of their fans for including Kylie Jenner and Rosalia instead of other prominent black women.

Hot New Hip Hop says the music video has also been accused of being far too pornographic, however, Cardi B claims she isn’t the first female rapper to introduce extremely sexual themes in her music.

Cardi shouted out to performing artists such as Lil’ Kim, Trina, and Khia, among others, as pioneers. Furthermore, Doja Cat released a tweet this week in which she mocked the song’s critics.
