Cherise Fox, 36, began a relationship with 81-year-old Rita Shaw's grandson and was later to have a son with him, now 5. After befriending Rita, who was isolated due to the coronavirus pandemic last year, Fox began running errands for her and was later trusted to use her bank cards to buy groceries and place bets on her behalf, Minshull Street Crown Court heard.
