Football icon David Beckham has exited the fashion label Kent & Curwen, where he has been a business partner, after it was revealed that the firm lost £18 million.
Beckham, who is the face of the fashion brand, signed a 5-year contract in 2015 and has even lent his hand to designing. The Sun reports that Beckham has severed ties with the British heritage brand despite being paid a seven-figure sum as their business partner.
The brand which re-imagines ‘British classics for the modern man’ has seen quite the resurgence since joining forces with the iconic footballer.
They’ve released high profile collaborations in recent years. The former Manchester United legend has teamed up with legendary Manchester rock stars The Stone Roses.
