In dramatic Corrie scenes the restaurant boss is seen for his true colours by his long-suffering wife Yasmeen after he attempts to thwart her plans to attend grandson Zeedan's wedding in Spain and lies about having a dodgy heart.
But sadly it seems she's in danger as his vile behaviour is laid bare. When Geoff fakes a funny turn and clutches his chest, Yasmeen calls an ambulance but when the paramedics can find nothing wrong with him, he refuses to go in for tests.
Granddaughter Alya Nazir and boyfriend Ryan Connor are suspicious, especially when Yasmeen announces that Geoff is in no fit state to fly to Spain
