's all-knowing gossip maven, whose identity was at the heart of several covert (and not so covert) investigations by various members of the Ton in season 2, came between BFFs Eloise Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington (aka Lady Whistledown). Their friendship was irrevocably broken when Eloise learned, after being wrongly accused by the Queen of reporting on the Ton's scandalous affairs as Whistledown, that it was Penelope — with some help, of course — who was responsible for inciting all the drama in her regular gossip sheet.Their blowout fight in the last episode of the season is the exact moment everything changes for the two, now estranged, friends. When Eloise begins putting the pieces together during the last ball of the season, she confronts Penelope after discovering loads of money secretly stashed away in her room.

Bridgerton season two may be all about Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate () finding love, but it's Luke Newton, a.k.a. Colin, who will have you looking forward to the most by the end. When you watch the hit Netflix show's return, you'll find the character at a bit of a crossroads: He's back from his travels abroad and wondering, What next? He doesn't figure it—not yet—but all that inner conflict leads the charming, easy-going Bridgerton brother down an interesting path. Oh, and anyone shipping Polin (that is, Colin and Penelope Featherington) will have a lot to keep them occupied.

Bridgerton fans were thrilled when they tuned into the first episode of the Netflix regency drama and heard Nicola Coughlan use her real accent. Nicola, 35, is best known for her role in the Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls based in Ireland and in season two of Bridgerton, Nicola got to showcase her Irish accent. In the hit Netflix series, Nicola stars as Penelope Featherington who typically speaks with a posh London accent as she is the youngest daughter of a nouveau-riche family in the period drama.

Bridgerton is finally back with a second season and we can’t wait to binge watch the whole series already. While we love watching all the drama and romance unfold, it’s the beautiful costumes that catch our attention and the intricate detailing that has clearly gone into each individual piece.
