It's expected football's place in England's tier system following the nation's circuit breaker lockdown will be clarified today.In Tier 2 areas, up to 2000 fans will be allowed to attend and a maximum of 4000 in Tier 1.The changes do not cover Scottish football grounds, with rules already in place under the current tier framework.Sport is a devolved issue and any decision over the long-term return of fans to grounds will be made in Holyrood.But the issue has been placed on the backburner for much of the country in recent weeks amid tightened regional measures.
