Bayern Munich prepare bid for Manchester United 'target' and more transfer rumours

Laimer has been a stand-out performer since moving to RB Leipzig from Red Bull affiliate RB Salzburg back in 2017. The 24-year-old has made 159 appearances for the club and was an instrumental figure in their run to the Europa League semi-final this season.
He has also been capped 20 times by the Austria national team and is ready to be reunited with United interim manager Ralf Rangnick when he steps into a new role he will operate in alongside his pre-arranged advisory duties at Old Trafford.
Midfield signings are set to be the priority when United get down to business this summer. Declan Rice remains a target amid long-standing interest, although there are complications there as key figures responsible for incomings and outgoings have, also, put together the framework for a potential deal involving Leeds talisman Kalvin Phillips; his England partner in crime.
