Award winning Renfrewshire hairdresser is setting up shop in home town

An award-winning hairdresser is encouraging other mums to chase their career dreams after is setting up shop in her home village.Louise Hughes has owned salons since she was in her twenties and is is returning to her family roots to own and run Canvass Hair in Bridge of Weir.Louise has won several awards, the first one being Best Salon Design in 2015, after the second salon she owned was fully done up with walls being knocked down and steel beams being put in to make it an attractive place to get your locks done. After completing my training, I then went self-employed. I then started opening my own businesses as of when I was 27.“The business I own now is called Canvass Hair.

The owner took on early retirement and passed the business onto myself.
