Asda shopper punched in the face after 'asking woman not to touch items he was buying'

shopper was attacked by another customer after asking a woman not to touch the items he was going to purchase. The 38-year-old victim was left with cuts and "significant" bruises from the assault, with the thug believed to be a friend or partner of the woman.

Now police have launched a CCTV appeal for a man in a blue gilet they would like to speak to in connection with the assault.

Officers are investigating the attack, which took place in Wolverhampton, West Midlands at roughly 2.30pm on December 21, reports The Mirror.
