Aldi is one of the most popular supermarket chains in Scotland. The budget retailer only narrowly missed out on being crowned cheapest in the country by main rival Lidl recently, but has legions of loyal customers who pounds its isles religiously.

Best known for its affordable prices, easy to navigate stores and its famous Specialbuys, there’s barely a town or city up and down the UK without an Aldi.

But once quirky trait which is a common occurrence for shoppers of the brand is the speed with which they are expected to make it through the checkouts, as reports Birmingham Mail.
