Lockdown restrictions in Scotland will be eased next week - but some important restrictions will stay in place while everything else goes.

Nicola Sturgeon gave an update on 'Freedom Day' from Monday, August 9 as she announced face masks will remain "for some time to come".

A raft of new lockdown measures will be lifted after the weekend, including the reopening of nightclubs and large events. The First Minister said coverings and masks will 'continue to be the law' and must be worn in the 'same indoor settings' as we do now.
