Kevin Hart
Kevin Darnell Hart (born July 6, 1979) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hart began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England, culminating in his first real break in 2001 when he was cast by Judd Apatow for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared. The series lasted only one season, but he soon landed other roles in films such as Paper Soldiers (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), In the Mix (2005), and Little Fockers (2010).

Willard Carroll Smith Jr. (born September 25, 1968) is an American actor and rapper. In April 2007, Newsweek called him "the most powerful actor in Hollywood". Smith has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, and has won four Grammy Awards.

“Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” remains one of the most underrated comedies from the 1980s. The film is easily the best Thanksgiving comedy (“Prisoners” is the best Thanksgiving movie, in general—fight me) and is a classic that showcases the talents of two of the biggest comedic actors of the era, Steve Martin and John Candy.

And as we know, Hollywood is obsessed with remakes and so, it was only a matter of time before “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” goes back into development one more time.
