BBC weather presenter accidentally claimed that a park was "full of doggers" in an X-rated slip of the tongue during a live broadcast.
Carol Kirkwood was left red-faced as she delivered today’s weather outlook for the UK from London’s Greenwich Park. The 58-year-old, who is originally from the Highlands, had been giving a summary of the exceptionally hot weather conditions in England to hundreds of thousands watching on BBC’s Breakfast show this morning.
Speaking on top of a hill inside the park, she said: “What a view we have here - fabulous! The sun is beating down and we’ve seen lots of doggers.”She quickly realised her mistake, and clarified: “…not doggers of course, but dog walkers and joggers around here through the course of this.
