Thugs force way into Blantyre home and leave man with head injury in early morning raid

Cops are hunting two men who forced their way into a Blantyre home in an early morning attack. A 36-year-old man and 55-year-old woman were inside the house in Springwell Crescent when the terrifying ordeal took place last Monday at around 8.30am.

The thugs assaulted the man, who was taken to Hairmyres Hospital with a head injury,  and pushed the woman, who was uninjured but has been left badly shaken by the experience.

The first suspect is around 6 ft. tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a black woolly tammy hat and a yellow hi-vis vest, orange gloves and a black scarf across his face to conceal his identify.The second suspect is around 6ft.
