Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

This Morning’s Eamonn Holmes reads out a message about balls from ‘Ophelia Butts’ – and fans reckon he’s being pranked

THIS Morning fans reckon Eamonn Holmes was pranked by a certain "Ophelia Butts" on Monday. The presenter, 60, had viewers at home in stitches after solemnly reading out Ophelia's message about "cod balls", during a segment with Ruth Langsford.

Eamonn was discussing retro food items when he read out the note from Ophelia about Birdseye's "Crispy Cod Fries". He said: "My cod balls weren't called cod balls, they were called cod fries. "That's from Ophelia Butts.

Ophelia Butts sent this in and she said, 'I remember these very well, they were not called cod balls, they were actually called cod fries.'" Ruth giggled before asking, "Do they still do them do you think?" As they observed a photo of the balls, Eamonn concluded: "I think they're from.
