Countless doctors and nurses have taken to social media to ask people across the world to stay at home and isolate amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Photographs on Twitter are being shared by members of the public to show those on the frontline in scrubs holding up placards with messages including: "We stay here for you, please stay home for us".
Another being widely shared is a TikTok video made by health professionals with the warning: "Help us. Take care of me. I'll take care of you." The online plea follows rising cases of the virus across the world, with tens of thousands of people in the UK thought to be infected.
