Ever since The Apprentice candidate Nick Showering was first shown on the BBC programme, he’s become a firm fan favourite. In fact, his hilarious antics - including imitating Theresa May’s infamous ‘robot’ move - have had tongues wagging so much that many started to think that he was a plant in the process.

After tuning in week in, week out, countless viewers put forward their theory that Nick was actually an undercover journalist or comedian who was pranking the other candidates.

But now Nick has been given the boot by Lord Alan Sugar in the latest episode of the show, he’s broken his silence on the claims, saying that while he’s secretly flattered, there’s absolutely no truth to the rumours.
