Veteran rock singer Rod Stewart wants to follow in the footsteps of Elton John and Freddie Mercury by having a film made of his life.Rod, 75, reckons Welsh actor Rhys Ifans would be perfect to play him, as long as he can make his lanky hair look like Rod’s famous blond locks.He said of Ifans, 52, who made his name as scruffy housemate Spike in the 1999 hit Notting Hill: “Yeah, Rhys would be a very good idea.
