Ianis Hagi will make his Rangers spell permanent despite interest from other big clubs according to countryman and former Ibrox defender Dorin Goian.
The skillful number 10 has looked a promising talent during his loan from Genk in the Belgian top flight. His performance in the first leg of the Europa League tie with Braga was the key factor in the men from Govan reversing a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2.
Rangers have a buy-out option to sign him for £4.5 million and Goian - who played at Ibrox in both the Premier League and the Third Division - reckons Hagi will sign for them once the loan deal expires.
Goian said: "I'm really happy for Ianis and I glad he's easily adapted to playing for Rangers."Rangers needed a player like Ianis.
