Rachel Stevens will not be performing on Dancing on Ice this coming Sunday (23 January). The former S Club Seven singer fractured her wrist after she fell over on the ice during a training session.
The 43 year old is now following expert medical advice and taking a break from the rigorous training and the skating competition as her injury heals.
A spokesperson for Dancing on Ice explained: "Due to an injury sustained in training and on the expert advice from the Dancing on Ice medical professionals, Rachel Stevens will not skate in this Sunday's show.” However, they assured DOI fans that Rachel would be back on the ice to compete in week three of the competition, which takes place on Sunday 30 January.
