Princess Anne returned to her royal duties just five days after the passing of her father, Prince Philip. The royal princess attended an in-person event to the Royal Yacht Squadron in the Isle of Wight on Wednesday, somewhere she used to enjoy going with the Duke of Edinburgh when she was young.
Anne attended the event to view youth training at her late father’s beloved club, before travelling to the Royal Victoria Yacht Club by boat to watch more programmes.
Anne shared fond memories of sailing with her father as a child at the west Cowes-based club, admitting she was a bit of a “nuisance” on board.
