Porsche driver dies in horror M74 crash as motorway locked down for hours

The smash happened at around 4.10pm on Wednesday, August 11, on the A74(M) near to junction 14 in South Lanarkshire. It's understood the collision involved a black Porsche Cayman travelling south and a white Ford Focus and red Vauxhall Corsa, which were both travelling north.A 42-year-old man, the driver and sole occupant of the Porsche, tragically died at the scene.The 32-year-old passenger of the Corsa was raced to hospital in Wishaw with serious injuries, while the 34-year-old female driver was rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she is also being treated for serious injuries.Both remain in a stable condition.The 55-year-old driver of the Focus was taken to hospital in Wishaw with minor injuries before being.
