Teenager accused of murdering man in Wythenshawe appears in court
Wythenshawe.Tony Robertson appeared in the dock in a grey prison tracksuit at Manchester Magistrates Court earlier today.He spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth.Mr Robertson, of Atlow Drive, in Wytheshawe, was charged with an offence murder of Lee Knott and an offence of threatening a person, namely Lee Knott, with a blade in a public place.No pleas were entered at this stage.Police were called at around 5.10pm on Tuesday 22 September by the ambulance service responding to reports of a stabbing on Royal Oak Road.Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital where he sadly died.The man was identified as 45-year-old window cleaner, Lee Knott.Mr Robertson was remanded into custody and will next appear at Manchester
