Nikki Sixx leads collaborative single to raise money for addiction charity
Nikki Sixx has teamed up with Corey Taylor, Joe Elliott, Brantley Gilbert, Ivan Moody, Slash, Tommy Vext and AWOLNATION to release a new track raising money for an organisation called the Global Recovery Initiative Foundation.That organisation supports programmes that provide services to people recovering from ‘substance use disorders’, with a stated ambition of helping to create “a world where all people in recovery from SUDs have access to the services and support they need”.The new track, called ‘Maybe It’s Time’, will also appear in the upcoming film ‘Sno Babies’, which is billed as “a gripping tale about the grim realities of opioid addiction and its effects on middle class suburbia”.
