Foo Fighters drummer Josh Freese has recalled the moment Dave Grohl asked him to join the band.Freese was confirmed as the Foos’ new touring drummer last May before he headed out on the road with Grohl and co. in support of their latest album, ‘But Here We Are’. He’d previously performed on stage with the group at the Taylor Hawkins tribute concerts in London and LA.Hawkins died on March 25, 2022 when Foo Fighters were in Bogotá, Colombia.
