BBC radio legend quits after 27 years as he tells listeners 'you've been my family'
One of the BBC's longest-serving presenters said an emotional farewell to his listeners after nearly three decades of entertainment - saying the job has been a "privilege". The star, 76, has decided to step down from his radio role and will be replaced by Strictly Come Dancing star Katie Derham and Petroc Trelawny, who currently fronts the weekday breakfast show.
