Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A Bannockburn mum left in limbo waiting for a crucial autism diagnosis for her son says children are being failed by the current system.Rachel Keenan, who has two decades of experience as a social worker, has been waiting for an appointment for son Jamie Cameron with the region’s Childen and Adult Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team since October 2019 after he was referred to the service by teachers at his school.But despite that support from staff at Bannockburn Primary and regular phone calls to the service, 11-year-old Jamie is still waiting to be seen, leading to concerns for Rachel as he prepares to make the transition to high school.Rachel told the
