Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
What a night it has been celebrating the Platinum Jubilee with an incredible concert in front of Buckingham Palace, after a busy day for the royals.The show-stopping event included speeches from Prince Charles and Prince William, as well as performances from pop royalty, including Diana Ross.The 96-year-old monarch has been experiencing mobility problems and wasn't in attendance at the evening event, but the music boomed so loudly it was an evening to be enjoyed by all around the UK.Thousands had tickets, and others filled The Mall leading up to Buckingham Palace and waved Union Jacks in celebration of Her Majesty's 70 years on the throne.The packed show was broadcast on BBC, but for those who missed the incredible concert, here are some moments you won't want to have missed...

Her Majesty was seen sitting across the table from the adorable toy to enjoy some tea and treats, but it soon turned into chaos as the accident-prone fan-favourite character drank all the tea.The sketch started with a royal staff member carrying a tray into a room where the Queen and Paddington Bear are sat waiting.
The beloved bear then reached for the teapot and drank the majority of its contents before offering the monarch some. When she gestured for it, they realised there was only a drop left.The clip ended with the pair both tapping to the beat of We Will Rock You as Queen's song began at the concert.
