Paris Hilton just went on the record to talk about the “terrible” abuse she suffered at a Utah boarding school.

The 39-year-old television personality appeared in court on Monday (February 8) in Utah. Paris first discussed the abuse in her documentary that was released last summer and then she also opened up in an interview with Drew Barrymore, who was able to relate to her. “My name is Paris Hilton, I am an institutional abuse survivor and I speak today on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children currently in residential care facilities across the United States.

For the past 20 years, I have had a recurring nightmare where I’m kidnapped in the middle of the night by two strangers, strip-searched, and locked in a facility.
