Parents at Lanarkshire school say busy road is 'accident waiting to happen'

A petition calling for a safe crossing point for children at an East Kilbride primary school has garnered hundreds of signatures.

And Councillor David Watson, whose ward covers Mossneuk Primary, is backing parents' calls - saying the danger road is an "accident waiting to happen".

The change.org petition was set up by local parents who are demanding that South Lanarkshire Council (SLC) make the road safer to cross before there is a fatality.
