Paddy McGuinness jokingly denied he was taking on a new career as he revealed what his next project really is and teased it's 'coming soon'.

Fans of the comedian and presenter recently saw him battling to stop the World XI's goals at this year's Soccer Aid. Bolton-born Paddy took on the role of goalkeeper at the massive charity football event on Sunday (June 9) as it returned for another year, this time at Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge.

The 50-year-old once again put on his shirt and laced up his boots for team England as they beat the World XI to earn their first Soccer Aid win since 2018.

They won 6-3, thanks to two goals from Dragons' Den star Steven Bartlett and Jermain Defoe and Theo Walcott’s second-half appearances but most importantly, more than £15 million was raised on the night, taking the overall amount raised by Soccer Aid since its inception in 2006 to £105m.
