NOEL Fielding has landed a bumper £150,000 pay rise to continue hosting The Great British Bake Off. The 46-year-old comedian is now one of Channel 4’s highest-earning stars after securing an improved contract.

According to accounts filed at Companies House last week, his earnings have soared to £1.1million — up almost £250,000 on the previous year.

News of his extension comes a month after co-host Sandi Toksvig, 61, announced she was quitting the hit baking show — which is judged by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
