Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger (born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente; June 29, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and television personality. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she initially performed in high school at Clark AB plays and studied at Wright State University before dropping out to pursue a musical career touring alongside American rock band Days of the New and through Popstars, became part of the short-lived girl group Eden's Crush. Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and released the albums PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008) becoming one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Nicole Scherzinger has described how Ed Sheeran took her to visit the Castle On The Hill from his hit song of the same name.

The Pussycat Dolls star is close friends with the British singer and spent time with him in his native Suffolk. Sheeran’s 2017 track from his chart-topping album Divide refers to Framlingham Castle in the town where he grew up.

Appearing as the Tracks Of My Years guest on Ken Bruce’s BBC Radio 2 show, she said: “He’s one of your greats, he’s gonna go down a legend.

You know his music is timeless and classic, and yeah I’ve got to get him to write me a song! “He’s written countless, brilliant, timeless songs, but he’s also a really cool, great friend.
