Neighbours rushed to help Blantyre shooting victim Graham Williamson as he lay dying on pavement

Blantyre last night as he lay dying on the pavement. One woman, who asked not be named, said she ran to help young dad Graham Williamson, known as Kermit, after he was reportedly blasted in the back by a man on Caithness Street at around 5pm.Neighbours and passers-by frantically tried to save the 26-year-old whilst they waited on paramedics arriving on the scene.The local woman said: "It was horrific."He was just lying there with blood pouring out.

My neighbour saw him falling to the ground after being shot in the back. She ran out first and the rest of us followed."We all tried our best save him.
