Megan Barton-Hanson has spoken out in defence of the Love Island boys’ treatment of Tasha Ghouri, despite the show receiving 1,509 new Ofcom complaints over their "misogynistic behaviour".

Megan, who appeared on the ITV2 reality series in 2018, weighed in on the complaints sent in from viewers as she supported Luca Bish specifically, after he believed Tasha was playing Andrew Le Page.

The other boys have shared similar opinions, influencing their behaviour towards Tasha in the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge and on Movie Night last week – which led Ofcom complaints to tally up to over 4,000 altogether.

Former contestant Megan, 28, has said she “rates” Luca for “not sitting on the fence” and thinks he has a point with Tasha. She told Radio Times: "I think Luca's got a point to be honest. "I feel like, good for him for saying how he feels and not sitting on the fence and just being quiet because he wants to be liked by everyone.
