Love Island is back on our screens next week and this series is set to be better than ever with the line-up of contestants being announced today.Maya Jama will be presenting the second ever winter edition of the show and one contestant who is hoping to find love in South Africa is 26-year-old Ron Hall - who is partially sighted.The Essex lad lost the sight in his right eye as a child playing football.Speaking about the incident which left him blind in one eye, he said: "On meeting me, you’d never know I am blind in one eye.
It was the result of a football injury when I was 8; I went in for a header and got kicked in the face."I’ve got two different coloured eyes, one blue and one green.
It’s added to my character, there are so many people that are worse off than me. And if anything, losing something like that makes you realise that.
It’s not hindered me in any shape or form. It’s a good conversation starter I must admit."However, Ron said he will definitely bring "fun and charisma" to the villa.
