Love Island narrator Iain Stirling seemed to get a bit flustered today as he was quizzed on Good Morning Britain about the ITV show's new host.

Maya Jama made her debut as the presenter when the show aired on Monday night in South Africa. Back in October, it was announced that the 28-year-old would be taking over from Laura Whitmore, Iain's wife, who stepped down after the 2022 summer series.

And today on GMB, hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls quizzed Iain on the new presenter. Referencing some of the show's catchphrases, Ed asked him: "Have you said to [Maya], 'Can you come over for a chat?' or 'I'm sending you a text?'"The 34-year-old laughed: "To Maya Jama?

I'm sure my wife would have something to say about that if that happened." He then said: "Maya is absolutely fantastic, Laura was absolutely fantastic, Maya is doing such a good job...
