Love Island is reportedly facing an "extreme weather warning" as temperatures are set to reach point baking at nearly 40 degrees Celsius on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
With this year's highly-anticipated series finally launching on TV screens this evening, it won't be long before contestants could be less bothered about meeting the person of their dreams and simply trying to stay cool instead.
While local residents will be preparing for the heatwave with siestas and staying in the shade, the islanders will be languishing in the villa as temperatures continue to rise.
According to meteorologists, there is a 70 per cent probability that the island will reach an unbearable 40C. What's more, it could cause issues with filming as the weather is expected to be "10C above average".
