Love Island fans meet departing Jacques O'Neill on flight - and he wasn't what they expected
dailyrecord.co.ukA Love Island fan was travelling home from his holiday and was shocked to see contestant Jacques O'Neill on the same plane because he was still to catch up with the latest episode.
The fan hadn't got his latest fix of the ITV show and did not realise that Jacques had left the villa.Rugby league star Jacques decided to quit the show last week after admitting that he wasn't feeling himself.
His family also revealed that he had struggled with his emotions, after heated scenes in the villa. The Hull man was waiting to board his flight back from Palma to Leeds-Bradford Airport when he spotted Jacques and realised that his time on the show was over.
He went on to praise the star for stopping to take selfies with fans before heading back to the UK.As reported in Hull Live, he said: "I was shocked seeing him as I didn’t catch up on the episodes due to been on holiday but then I saw him at the airport in Palma Nova, it was a complete shock to everyone there, the whole airport couldn’t believe it."He added. "What I thought was most touching is that he took time to get pictures with people after what he explained to the viewers on Tuesday night.
