LOVE Island bosses have axed the much-loved food challenge after a series of complaints. In the past, islanders have got up close and personal by passing food and drink between each other’s mouths.
And while many find the feature gross for hygiene reasons, others are more concerned about any food waste. Over the years, the show has been inundated with complaints about it, which has sparked a change.
A source said: “There are going to be lots of activity based challenges this series to make up for the lack of food ones. “Bosses decided it was time to move on food wastage as they try and be as environmentally friendly as possible”.
