Kelly Clarkson is opening up about the struggles of her divorce. The 38-year-old pop star and daytime talk show host, who filed to endher seven-year marriage with husband Brandon Blackstock in early June, got candid about the subject during an interview with Sunday TODAY on Sept.

13. "I mean, it's no secret," Clarkson told host Willie Geist via Zoom. "My life has been a little bit of a dumpster ... personally, it's been a little hard the last couple months." Clarkson and Blackstock, a music manager, were married in October 2013 and share two children, daughter River Rose, 5, and son Remington Alexander, 3.

The couple had also been raising Blackstock's two children from a previous marriage, daughter Savannah, 18, and son Seth, 14.
