JB Gill has paid tribute to Darius Campbell Danesh. 41-year-old 'Pop Idol' star Darius was found dead at his apartment in Rochester, Minnesota, on August 11 and JB revealed he and his JLS bandmates Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and Marvin Humes, have been left shocked at the "incredibly sad news".
The popstar and farmer - who has been working with vegetable brand Tenderstem, to launch its 'Suppertime Sonnets' campaign - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Obviously I know that they are still waiting to hear about the cause of death and of course the family have the right to privacy.
But I will just say that it is incredibly sad news. He was only 41 and to lose anybody at such a young age is going to be heartbreaking.
The JLS boys and I are very sad at hearing that news and we obviously wish his family the best at this very sad time. " JLS first found fame on 'The X Factor' - Simon Cowell's follow-up to 'Pop Idol' - and Simon has also paid tribute to "charismatic" Darius following his death.
