Declan Donnelly defended the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmates after they were criticised by "harsh" fans for crying over their letters from home.
Monday night's instalment of the popular ITV series saw the likes of David Ginola and Danny Miller breaking down into tears as they received some much-needed support from their loved-ones at home.
But not everyone related to the celebrities' emotions as they took to Twitter to poke fun at them. One viewer, in particular, tweeted: "I'll never understand the drama over letters from home on TV shows.
I've ignored texts longer than they are in the jungle! #ImACeleb." The tweet caught the attention of Dec, who re-shared it to the 6.7million followers on his joint account with co-host.
