Ben Nevis as 'too high' in a scathing Tripadvisor review. The walker branded the iconic summit as 'boring' and was furious about the fact their was no pub at the top.

The reviewers girlfriend was left in tears as walking up the UK's highest mountain took 'too long' and 'particularly steep'.

They compared the Highlands summit, near Fort William, to a more satisfactory mountain in Wales which has better infrastructure at the peak and toilets.They also said the view was not up to scratch, and the descent was 'boring'.Fortunately Britain's highest mountain did not charge an entrance fee, which it would not warrant, according to the reviewer.The Tripadvisor review said: "After going up Mount Snowdon by train in Wales I'd forgotten just how high.
